Help SOS Still don't get it...Someone help me on unit 65 before I lose my marbles!!

I am really stuck on this question at the mo! It seems really simple and I feel really dumb for asking but I really don't get it!!

The question is: "How you link observations to the relevant early years framework used in your setting"??

In my setting, we use Learning Stories and stickers to stick our written observation into, as well as photos... but I still don't get it...

Any help at all would be much appreciated as I have racked my brain on this one...

Do you write links to the EYFS on your observations? (in my setting we write them straight onto the observation)

If not do you have paperwork in which you use the EYFS to link into the observations you have made to assess a child's development. (such as medium term plans where you will use your observations to see where a child is and plan for how you want them to develop in a set time frame)

How do you use the observations you make to assess how the child is developing according to the EYFS?

I really hope this helps :(

we link the observations to the EYFS by writing down the next steps in the child's learning story book next to the observation and photo...we don't have any paperwork as such, apart from the EYFS handbook and the learning story books...ahhhhhhh this is going to drive me insane!! lol x

It's very strange; we all carry our own copy of the EYFS around with us because we use it for everything, every observation we make and activity we initiate has a link in the EYFS.

I've only worked in the 1 nursery though so I don't know how other places do things :(

Also you're not stupid, it sounds like your place works really differently 0.o
