Default unit 122

hi, i'm really stuck on my last unit and my tutor is coming tomorrw. i would really appreciate any help with this last question on unit 122.

give examples on how the social and medical model of disability is used in the service of delivery.

i have said that there are policies and procedures that are in place to ensure that everyone is being treated the same and that activites are suitable for the children according to their age, stage of development and that we adapt activites and resources for children and young people to ensure that they are able to partcipate in the activities, but ive said about these in the outcome 2, question 2.

I was wondering if i was on the right line in answering the question.

thank you
bunny

nope this is about perspectives the special perspective or model of disability and the medical one you need to research these and understand them then see how settings use each model , and many still use the medical model in their delivery
. this criteria needs you to demonstrate you understand these 2 models it isnt really about inclusion

Thank you tutu. Looking at it again i think i've put pointers down for the following question :Explain how each model of disability impacts on inclusion, rights, autnomy and needs of individuals.

Do you have any pointers on the first question as i'm now really stuck and don't know where to start.

thank you
Bunny
