Default EYFS Welfare Requirements

I have these questions I need answering can anyone help me its about the EYFS welfare requirements they are all true or false answers.

All providers must meet the statutory welfare requirements

There are 10 general welfare requirements

Ofsted will check the welfare requirements are being met

Policies and procedures do not have to be written down

The practitioner responsible for safeguarding children must attend a child protection course

Parents only have to ask if they wish to see their child’s records

All complaints must be immediately reported to Ofsted

Children are only allowed home with other adults if the parents have given written permission

You must carry out a full risk assessment before every outing

The setting must have a named Special Education Needs Co-ordinator

You must have prior written consent before administering any medicine

All staff must be training in paediatric first aid

Fresh drinking water must be available to the children at all times

Staff can smoke outside

You should not use physical intervention with children

You need a separate CRB check for every childcare setting you work in

You must notify Ofsted of all staff changes

All unqualified staff should be encouraged to gain a Level 2 Childcare qualification
If you are under 17, you cannot be counted in the staff : child ratio

Risk assessments must be reviewed every 3 months

Fire doors must be easily opened from the inside

Babies and children do not need to be in separate rooms

There should be one toilet and hand basin for every 10 children over the age of 2
All children must have a key person

Thanks

in order to pass this you simply need to google the eyfs welfare requirements and read it! the new document isnt long but this is where you demonstrate your knowledge and earn your qualification. this are basic questions if people do them for you and youre asked these at interview how will you cope? come on google and do it it will take you an hour tops
