Help SOS unit 3 section 3 question 3.1

explain why it is important to ensure children and young people are protected from harm within the work setting.... i know this should be really easy but i just cant get started on it can anyone help please????

Hi, Children are unable to assess and mitigate risk to the degree that it would ensure their own complete and others safety, they are not physically strong enough to protect themselves in all situations, or have it assumed that they're able to call for assistance in ways that would bring them immediate help.

Negligence may be unlawful, events can potentially ruin careers, reputations, significantly and seriously damage families and potentially cause death.

Article 3.3 and article 6 of the UNCRC

Summary of children's act 2004 can be found inside the ECM change for children publication.

How do you know children and young people are kept as safe as possible the what & why sections are very helpful, from IDEA.gov.uk
