Were you like me as a child and always wanted a Post Office?
I never got one....
(deprived childhood!) So I literally woke up this morning thinking this one up.....I hope I can describe it properly - I'll have to make one and pop a pic on!
You will need:
1 large cereal box
Tape
2 Split pins
Paint/ collage materials
2 plastic milk bottle tops
Scissors
Cut away the top flaps of the box, then cut down 2 of the sides (widest width) to about 4 inches from the bottom. You need to cut across this to remove it - but cut up above the end of the first vertical cuts at a measurement that equals the depth of the box as you will then fold and taping this across the gap from front to back to form a counter. (Hope that makes some sort of sense!) Cut the sides of the box horizontally from the base of the first side cuts to the uncut side of the box and fold back on itself to provide 'privacy' for the PO Clerk. In the front/back uncut box panel you need to cut a 'H' on its side to make doors - cut it as large as you can without compromising the strength. Decorate the whole thing with paint or collage materials to your liking, punch a hole through the centre of each bottle top and attach to the doors using split pins and there you have your door handles. Et Voila, one basic but fun Post Office Counter! :bouncy:
