Help SOS 403 observation methods

i have a question asking about different obs methods and the advantages and disadvantages of them all i have answered all be one. Can anyone tell me what a pre-coded categories is please thank you in advance

hi there this is when you have say letters running down the page for example
A- moves spontaneously around space
B can stop
C move in a range of ways
its a quick and easy way to assess a childs development and is easily recorded because you would just write the letter at the side of the childs name and is good when you are observing a lot of children or are needing to record a variety of developmental stages for a particular skill hope this helps and you get what i mean x
