Smile how would u interpret this question?

hi all just looking for some different opinions to help me approach my essay the question is

Critically discuss and evaluate the emergence of the EYFS with particular reference to policy and practice.

how would you approach this?

well you have a plethora of evidence to choose from! there have been huge fans and many dissenters all of which you will find on google. its emergence has challenged the practice in most settings and the professionalism and commitment to theories and ethos such as free play etc. there is the current review which will give you a lot of evidence and of course the polices being ECM and Sure start being closely interlinked you have a great question!

thanks for the reply!!!I know i have a lot of info to choose from but that seems to be the problem my learning out comes say that i should also critically evaluate the content nature and provision of the EYFS its all so much info to get in one essay and in some kind of sensible order!!thank you for your help
