Help SOS What is holstic?

Hi everyone am only new to this and could really do with som help for my ccld nvq 2, question is K2D45 What does the team holistic mean in child development?? Plz help

holistic means the whole development so if the child was playing on the climbing frame the aredevelopming all their skills eg: social skills by talking and playing with others, their motor skills by using muscles and joints when climbing, learning to take turns,etc. If you type in holistic on the search forum some more answers will come up
