Hi,
I only work with children up to five years of age - but I'm trying to think of what older children may do and then the risks.
How about using water pistols outside?
Therefore the risk could be running around - what hazards could be lying around? garden implements, steps/terraces, bird baths etc, prickly plants.
Swimming activity - can they all swim? do some require arms bands? ensure they understand safety procedures - no running around pool - due to slippery and dangerous surfaces, transport to/from activity, adult supervision - correct ratio etc
Washing up (after baking) - are they given sharp knives to wash up? - if so are they supervised? Putting dishes away - make sure they are not climbing up on work surfaces to place items in high cupoards. Check to see you aren't asking/allowing a child with eczema to wash up.
I can't think of much else - I think I spent most of those years playing hopscotch, roller skating and cycling!
I hope this helps you to think of other ideas.
