I agree with most of the above. I have a colleague who did her level three and four at college straight from school. and is now working at her FD. She has had little or no experience at actually doing the job. Much better to get the experience and decide if our of class managemtn is what you want to be doing

thanks for all your advice!! wasn't expecting so many replies! I know i'm gaining experience all the time but I have been in this nursery for 4 years and done my nvq 3 in the nursery and been aloud to do everything from day 1 pretty much so don't feel much different in my work now that i've done my nvq 3. don't get me wrong it's a great achievement but i'm not doing anything different from before! like I said before the one thing on my mind at the mo is whether i'm gonna waste this money and not be able to do anything different from what i can do with my nvq!
