hi,i just can't think how to answer this question,
why is it important to communicate positively with children and families .

because you are only a child care worker, you are not the expert on the child, you dont see them as often as they do and they do and will always know the child better than you. if thats you starting point then you treat the parents with respect and support you will gain so much information off them, observations and input to their learning journal that it can only have a positive effect on the child.
