Default RA: Comparing and contrasting the information and serivces

Hi Everyone

I was wondering can anyone explain what my assessor asking me to do..

I have to writ a rflective account.. Comparing and contrasting the information and serivces provided by the children's center to promote equality of access and inclusion?

Is that a bit about the chidlren's center (The background it was open in such and such date) then what it has to offer families i.e. Support for families and parents

And also I have to write a reflective account on how information is shared on babies with parents and from parents

Help would be most appreciated :]

Cheers all

First bit - is that like having translators or documents available in languages other than English, signers (or access to signers for deaf). Promoting the services of the centre in areas where target groups might see them - so in doctor's surgeries, libraries, cultural groups in the area (for instance round where I live there are Polish community groups etc), local hospital (ob/gyn wards, A&E, drugs wards, perhaps). Basically ensuring all the services are available to all people, regardless of race, ability etc.

Second bit - daily diary, sheets detailing what has happened ie nappy changes, feeding schedules, what was eaten. Face to face communication.

Hope that helps - noticed you had some viewings but not a lot of info coming out!

Sam
