I covered this at my last assessment and got an A for it. Perhaps you could build it into your next assessment. Have you written anything for K3D203 about children? It's a hard question I think. Best wishes, Julia

I haven't done NVQs so I'm not sure what they want from you but...

Could you write about any ways in which you've adapted resources or the environment for;
-any children in your care with special needs (e.g. wheelchair friendly sand tray, using Makaton sign language etc),

-family circumstances/difficulties (e.g.grandmother who has taken on the role of main carer, child struggling with new sibling etc) :sorry:

-general differentiation (how you adapt an activity for the different age ranges and abilities so that each child feels included and gets the most from the activity - the way you extend an activity using sustained shared thinking, allowing the child to deviate from the original focus to allow creativity, different size implements for different age groups/abilites...)

What about how would adapt your practice to support the needs of the children ie so you have any disabled children or children requireing special needs in yrou setting / care? and If you did what would you do differently? eg, a child with a hearing, or sight imparement .. or a child with a physical disability, eg they need a walking aid, you would have to adapt your practice in the way that they woudl need extra space to manouver between chairs, etc..

Hi jules i just started on K3D219 in unit 303 any suggestions x x be most appreciated :-)
