Default ideas please

hi can anyone think of any ideas?

its a pc i've got to answer and it says make sure you take account of children and young people who may experience barriers, this unit is all about play, i'm alright with the part about children but it is what barriers young people may experience such as 12 - 16 years etc.

cost

timing, most events for older kids are at night and the perceived dangers stop parents allowing them to participate by not letting them travel

Could being a carer (for parents or younger siblings) also come into it?

Disability
Safety issues, as Tutu says, concerned with timing of events and the pressure from peers to do 'less-safe' things (what is the thrill of running on train tracks?!) rather than organised activities (if there are any in your area)
