I am just about to start this and am having the same trouble!! Have you sorted it yet or still struggling?

I too have written all about the different legislation but am unsure of how to get started in explaining how i use it. Quite worrying considering i run a nursery!!

I think i am looking too deeply into it and short explanations are all that is required, i'll let you know how i've done it, when (and if!) i eventually finish!

Did my reply work?? (having malfunctions) If not basically I wrote about each Act/Right etc and then after each I wrote how it is implemented into my setting I then tried to tie some of the other bits into it.
So for eg I wrote about Convention on the rights of the child - K4P775 and also covered K4P781 by mentioning rights to play etc...and covering K4P782 by mentioning why the child may be discriminated against and why(religion, colour etc), then added K4P784 in by mentioning what resources we use in my setting to make sure the child is included - sign, symbol, pictures, good parental relationships etc... so each Act or right ties in alot of other bits and bobs. I'm doing 428 now which is all health and safety so as I've already mentioned RIDDOR, COSH etc in 402 I can cross refer. Hope this is helpful...

I wrote about the EYFS and how that governs how we work. There is loads of stuff in the EYFS file that will help you too!

How did you get on with 402 ? It was my first unit so it's quite hard to know whats enough and what needs a bit more but my assessor said it was good so hopefully I'm on the right track now...
