Maximum amount of Reflective accounts?

one of the groups i work with have been told they aren't allowed to do more than 7. Does anyone else have their reflective accounts limited?

As far as I know you can use reflective accounts as much as you like, as this shows your competancy. However your limit may be down to your tutor or assessor. As long as you have other sources of evidence they could be used as supplementry evidence.
I would check with the tutor or assessor and ask why the limit.
Hope this helps

Had a meeting with our EV last week who advised that refelctive accounts are not good evidence as they do not necessarily reflect practice. Any one could make it up. Witness testimoney much better as most practitioners work along side another colleague.

The only thing we say about Reflective Accounts is that they MUST be REFLECTIVE of your practice otherwise they are just personal statments. We don't have a limit, just need to make sure the are properly written as it's important for candidates to think about their practice & how they can improve!
