Hi
The NVQ I'm doing is through CACHE via my local college, my level 2 was through the NVQ Consortium don't know who my friend's was through.
There seems to be a lot of different ways to grade taking place, Surely it would be fairer if they were graded in the same way.
Also, reading through this forum, the way my NVQ is being completed is very different. For my level 2 (which was 3 years ago now) I had to be assessed and there were some senario work, worksheets and answering lists of knowledge questions and a few oral questions. My level 3 is very different - I am assessed, I attend workshops at college regularly and carry out worksheets there which I can submit as evidence, there are still reflective accounts and witness testimonies as before, but 303 is, on the whole (I think), an assignment and evidence for each unit is supported by professional discussions with some questions. Are others doing the same or are there different formats to completing NVQs depending on which body you are with?
