General question 307.2 planning a daily menu

Hi,
Am new here and have an assignment I need some inspiration for, I hope someone can help?
I need to plan a daily menu for 3 children aged 9 months,18 months and 2 1/2 years. I need to include breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I need to put myself in the position where I am childminding these children all at the same time. Does any one have any suggestions please? Maybe things that would be suitable for all the children with just a bit of extra mashing or cutting up involved for the younger one?

Thanks

Mooncat

Hiya,

I work in a nursery with ages 3months-5years and the types of food we have are:

Breakfast - readybrek, weetabix, (rice crispies, cornflakes, these are mainly for children over 1yr).

Lunch - spaghetti bolognese, lasange and garlic bread, chicken cous-cous, pasta bake, meatballs and egg noodles etc.

Tea - soup either tomato or vegetable, crumpets, sandwiches, toast, fruit, raisins, a cake, youghurt etc

Snack - fruit

Hopefully this will be of some help to you! Good luck
