Default Where do I start

Is anyone out there doing Unit 410 K4M 949. I understand the question but how does this fit in with evaluate, assess and support children's creativity? Any help would be appreciated.

What are your policies, procedures, lines of reporting and accountability, and referral systems that are used in your setting and local area, where there are concerns about children and their development? the actual unit is 410 Evaluate assess and support childrens creativity, not sure this fits in or is it a general question asked in every unit?

Seems quite a general question to me - I havnt done that unit yet so Im not sure.
I would probably look at all the different types of ways that children can be creative and look at what procedure i would follow if I felt a child was't developing properly.
Look at other professionals that may need to be involved ie speech therepist, SEN, physiotherepist???

you could write about situations that you could support and evaluate a childs creativity in i.e a role play area and then say what you would do if the child was displaying unusual behaviours or if the child was below the "norm" or above it, for example at 4 year old Bateoven was supoosedly able to learn a new bit of music in half an hour. if you had a child who was exceptionally good at something how would you support their needs? or if they were really delayed in their development, i.e if they were unable to use symbols and marks or if they were unable to verbally tell a story in creative play at 6year old what would you do to help them?

Thank you both for your help. I think it makes sense now, I just could'nt get my head round the policies procedures and how this linked to evaluating creativity. I need this to finish unit 410. Unfortunately my assessor is not coming to see me until September and as I am doing this online it is not always easy to ask her advice. So again a big thank you
