Coffee Libraries not free

Children in wales were surveyed and a majority thought it cost to borrow books from thier local library ~ Libraries aren't free

I was actually surprised that my Dd wasn't aware of how the library system worked ~ She does now and I'll be letting her book out her own books from now on !!

I can only think it's the overdue charges that have prompted Children to think that borrowing isn't free !

Ds is four in July, I don't think he would know yet.

I told him the other week to thank his Grandad the juice and cookie thta he got in a cafe. He said that he didn't have to thank Grandad as the cafe gave him it.

We use the library regularly so I've given DS1 (nearly 3) a lecture in the fact that we borrowed them and didn't give any money! I guess it's confusing for young children too as you hand over a card like a credit card!
