Addressing gaps and shortfalls is a way to ensure best practice is at the centre of your professional management. Consider how these are currently looked at in the setting eg. own & colleagues training, safeguarding, child protection, information sharing, when are the contents of the setting's policies and procedures examined and how are action plans used.
