Oh Patsy  with you having lived in Africa ~ have you any tips on taking care in the sun ?... it still astonishes me to see so many little ones in their pushchairs with no protection on their foreheads and shoulders :weepy:

Weather too hot, been out my car, very hot. Some advice son't sit in your car for lunch I'm

I make sure my little girl has sun lotion on when she goes outside, I don't want her to burn! She doesn't like the hot weather, we have got some cooling spray to cool her down as well, I fully recommend cooling spray if any of you are really hot.

Yeah I try and make sure my daughter keeps her hat on but she doesn't like wearing them, she also has blond hair which makes her head burn even easier, I've been told.

My 3 children love the sun but find it very hard when they see people without hats or suncream or water to drink. My husband has had skin cancer for the last 3 years, has to keep going for check ups and having bits of the cancer cut out. He was 30 when he first got it, it affected the children alot as the doctors think it is very likely they will get it at an early age too. I know its hard but it was probably the best wake up call we all got, the kids never complain about wearing hats, t-shirts etc, and they drink so much water they are in danger of turning into fish!! Shouldn't complain about the lovely weather though, as long as we all take precautions we should enjoy it while it lasts.

This weather makes me feel like a wax crayon that has been left out in the midday sun!!! (a puddle on the floor if anyone hasnt experienced that!)

I thinkI am going to go and emigrate to Siberia or somewhere!!!! Im afraid i dont like it THIS hot! I even threatened to go to work in a bikini today which would NOT be a pretty sight!!!

Why is it.... if its too cold we are all sent home from school , yet if it is too hot....we get to stay and cook!?!? Doesnt seem fair to me!!

The children and I have learnt something new form the heat though.... if you stand infront of a fan with your face up close to it.... it vibrates your voice!!! it is VERY funny of course - we spent ages doing that today!! lol

I'm so hot I keep sneaking into the back yard, making sure no-one can see then taking my t-shirt off!!! If any of my neighbours go blind - SORRY!!

I don't like the heat , well I don't mind it if there's a nice breeze to go with it, but I wish it would cool down on a night so I could sleep!!! :flamed:
