A good working relationship where agreements are maintained will benefit all in the setting, staff team, colleagues, the parents and carers and the children, where staff have good working relationships it helps provide a welcoming environment for children and parents.
having a team with good relationships benefits everyone in the team, during times of stress or uncertainty staff will be a good support for each other, this then builds a stronger team spirit. When staff get on well together they are more likely to discuss ideas, and reflect on what they do and changes in the setting.
When the manager gets on well with the team any consctructive criticism or praise will be better recieved and staff wont be defensive to any suggestions made.
