Default Teaching assistant tasks .. do you do a 'reflective' account every time?

I've been doing the teaching assistant task for maths in reception since september and our tutor has just brought up 'reflective' accounts - I've done the task every week since I started, should I type them all up as evidence?

Hi,
I'm assuming the reflective accounts are as part of your study, if so you probably won't need to do one for every task you do but they will help and contribute if the task you did or way you did it meets an outcome for evidence. I did this on a few sessions I was leading and got the teacher at the time to read through, discuss with me and add a comment at the end before submitting as part of my coursework.

If the tasks you do have planning to back them up from yourself or the teacher it can also be useful to evaluate and reflect on the activity/tasks as well. This also could help with the study side but the schools data and equally yourself and colleagues on how the task went before planning a new one.

Hope this helps

Thank you very much for your answer, I feel a bit panicky as I've got so many to do and I'll focus on the most important. I find it very interesting - we have just done 'coins' and I had to run a shop - one of the children had £9 in £1 coins and thought he had to buy 9 £1 items!

I am doing the Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Learning and Teaching in Schools, 14 hours in the school and 3 hours a week in the evening at college.
