How about thinking from the other way around?
Write down a list of children with different needs and then think of what and how you need to adapt, or start with activities and see how you can adapt them for all to do.
As well as making sure your setting's premises have room for wheelchairs, you could think of the outdoor environment - how may you need to change it and whom for?
Make the outdoor area accessible, safe and enhance it i.e. for children that are blind or visually impaired - a scented garden area - raise this up to waist height and children in wheelchairs can also reach it.
How could you include children in dancing if they were in a wheelchair? - perhaps provide ribbon rings or musical intruments whilst mobile children use ribbon sticks.
When using a parachute in a group activity when rolling balls around it, use balls with bells inside for those with a hearing impairment.
How do you adapt snack time for children with allergies or food preferences? such as vegetarians/lacto vegetarians/vegans/ coeliacs/nut allergies etc?
How do you adapt if you have a child with a chronic illness and they are not allowed to play outside in the winter/sun/damp etc?
Do you make allowances and how do you try and include this child and provide some form of physical play (if they are allowed and able to) indoors?
Look at your policies - not just special needs, but inclusion and equality as they will all interlink and help you answer what your setting does.
Remember any child may have different needs and you need to adapt, but they don't necessarily have developmental special needs.
A child's special needs may be that they come from a disadvantaged family and always arrive hungry because they are never given breakfast -
how do you adapt for this child?
or do they have to wait two hours until it is officially snack time?
