Hi, look back over the course and the title of its units & outcomes, you'll see they state what it is they've tried to help you learn xx
How children develop might be milestones, patterns, when intervention is needed, how intervention happens, why evaluating children's development in important.
Understanding safeguarding might be about recognising the difference between the overarching term of safeguarding and the specifics of child protection. Healthy safe & engaging environments, risk assessments, governing bodies + their requirements, reporting and recording procedures of the setting, supporting and promoting positive relationships - challenging discrimination & inequality.
The theories are the points you summarised. for example I'd maybe put the theory of challenging discrimination into everyday practice by offering support to colleagues, looking for training opportunities that helped deal with managing incidents effectively, being available for meetings that looked at the policies and procedures for equal opportunity, inclusion and ensuring I was able to safeguard children's access and right to high quality provision.
