Hi, what observations do you undertake in the setting and how are they used after that?
What assessments and informed judgements do you make from the information they provide you with - 'next steps'?
How does this all translate to your own practice - do you plan for children's specific needs and interests, plan to interact more/less to support a child in a specific circumstance eg. learning a new skill, adapting or honing that skill? might there be times when an observation and assessment highlights a gap in your professional knowledge so you could look at additional training eg. child development, supporting children's behaviour, risky play, safe play?
How do you ensure activities are differentiated so that they meet individual children's needs?
