Well I did mine a few years ago and my tutor did loads of observations...

She came out to me every few weeks and watched me with the children.

She also did obs to fill in gaps for evidence.

I think you might need another word with her!

Hi
Yes I think that you should ask her too. My assessor visited me every couple of weeks. I thought that OBS were a great part of the NVQ as it is a vocational qualification ( thats what my assessor keeps telling me anyway). I am almost at the end now and my assessor visited once or twice for each unit for OBS. I know all assessors work differently but would have thought some obs would have been done five months into it. Happy New Year

as mentioned, have a word with your college/provider and see what's going on. If they know there's a problem they may be able to help support you and any issues your assessor possibly has with their workload ..

xx

Am in the same boat hoping to finsih my NVQ in the next couple of months but only had 2 observations - think it is because it is a private company I am doing it from home so my assessor only comes out once a month if that.

Best of luck

Our chairperson has complained to the training company and the assessor has made a appology i handed my finished folder to her and now she is going to do all the obs in one week!! your obs have to cover all the units,i feel let down by my assessor as she has not done very much to help me.when i haded her my folder her words were "oh i didnt expect you to finish so quick"
