Coffee A Review of Mathematics Teaching in Early Years Settings and Primary Schools

The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families has asked Sir Peter Williams to review the teaching of mathematics in primary schools and early years settings, with a view to publishing an interim report in March 2008 and a final report in June 2008. The Terms of Reference can be found by following the link below. The Williams Maths Review Team will be conducting a 'call for evidence' over a six week period, which began on 1 October 2007 and which will conclude on 16 November 2007. Schools are asked to contribute to the Review by submitting evidence relating to any of the areas highlighted in the terms of reference and can do so by emailing WilliamsMaths.Review@dcsf.gsi.gov.uk with their findings.
