Wide Eyed Stupid Question...

'Ello again.

I have a very stupid question. I still have a few months left on my course (Level 3 diploma, Cache) but was just having a panic about submitting my finished folder... When my tutor marks my assignments and we sign off units and she says all is well, does that actually mean that all is well or is there a chance that when my folder is sent off to wherever it needs to go when the course is completed I could still 'fail'?? Bit ridiculous, I know, but I'm just unsure about the process once I've finished the coursework. I mean, if I achieve my 65 credits and my tutor says it's fine should I worry that whoever judges my work could disagree that I've got the 65 credits?

Thanks in advance!

yes there is a chance that the internal verifier will find fault with the assessment process and return it for further work. As an IV and as an EV i have done it several times. BUT it is rare and if you have a good tutor marking and an assessor assessing then you should be ok.

Thanks tutu! My work to date was checked by an IV just before the summer holidays and she left a note in my folder to say she was impressed with the work I had done, which was encouraging because I do tend to panic about things unnecessarily at times and always think my work's below par until someone says otherwise! My tutor has really just left me to battle things out on my own and hasn't make it clear what would happen when I submit the finished course - which has been irritating me lately, so I thought I'd ask here! Many thanks for your reply. Much appreciated. x
