About the Characters ..

WHAT IS ZOT AND WHO IS BEN?

Zot is a 1000-nanobot robot, meaning that he is made up of 1,000 nano robots. Zot can be whole (with all 1,000 miniature robots in place) or he can split into any number of nanobots (up to 1,000). Zot can talk, walk, run, hop, skip, jump, swim and fly. Zot can see, hear, stretch, shrink, think, wink, blink, drink and cause a stink with skunk gunk if necessary. In a bit of role misplacement, Zot speaks a language much like a 12-year-old dude, and Ben's vocabulary is very adult. WHAT ZOT LOOKS LIKE IS UP TO YOU.

Ben (Benjamin Franklin Werk) is a boy of 12 going on 13, and the only son of Dr. Howzit Werk and Dr. Fonda Werk. The Werk family has a storied history as scientists and inventors. Ben's grandfather, Sir Willitt Werk, was a peer of Albert Einstein and shared many of Einstein's theories of time and space until Sir Werk's mysterious disappearance when Ben was eight years old. Ben's father is a professor of robotics. Ben's mother is a brilliant nanotechnologist. Ben's mother and father have high hopes that Ben will follow in the family's footsteps. Ben certainly has the genes to be a scientist. But Ben is not interested in science. Ben wants to be a professional snowboarder. WHAT BEN LOOKS LIKE IS UP TO YOU.

What's The Show All About?

Zot and Ben pop in and pop out of different places throughout the universe and in different times (from prehistoric to present) purely at random. They encounter everything from pirates to dinosaurs to aliens and vampires. Each episode is a brand new, but brief, adventure. WHAT HAPPENS TO ZOT AND BEN IS UP TO KIDS WHO WRITE THIS SHOW (but more about that, later).
