help again

I'm really finding unit 405 very hard any help would be welcome. I have a question about local key stakeholders who my manger said we didnt have any, i thought they were people who had a interest in the nursery, am i right??????????:

yes you are right, a stakeholder can be an individual or organisation with an interest in your setting - although they may have different interests and responsibility.

The children's parent and/or carers will have a vested interest in your setting - it doesn't have to be financial, but I'm sure they are all interested in the service you are providing - the care and education you are delivering.

Your setting will have other stakeholders that are interested in the setting such as a committee if you are a voluntary setting, trustees possibly overseeing the monetary and viability of the setting and of course your manager and staff would have a vested interest. The manager is accountable for the delivery of the service.

I'm surprised your manager doesn't know that - you'll have to share that section of your course work with her. No wonder you're doubting yourself even when you are right, perhaps she had a hard day when you asked her!
