I touched abit on tranisitions in my level 3. I remember writing about supporting children moving up to different room e.g. from the baby room to the toddler room and how you would support them- arranging small visits of maybe upto an hour so the child gets used to the staff and other children within the room and so they know the routine. these visits could be done at different times of the day- in the morning- so they have snack and after snack. at lunch so they can have lunch with the other children and maybe go back down to their room after. it would be a good idea with the child got to know who their key worker would be, so they can both build a relationship and trust with each other.

Hope this helps you and points you in the right direction :)
