Default how reflective practise can be used positively to develop own practise

I don't seem to be getting very far maybe its because I have til tuesday to do 404 ! and having just finished 403 I'm in brain freeze.

So far I have put basically how reflective practise can help see how you work with other staff and outside agencies , seeing own weaknesses in practise with children , making sure you are meeting all needs of the children care and development , good relationships with parents, areas needing enhancing . But for some reason I seem to have done this in 6 lines ?

Please help .I think I am finding this whole thing hard as I'm a childminder and work with a friend as an assistant and have a couple of students who come

You've mentioned quite a bit, and I'm not advocating you pad them out, but how about writing your factual line and then giving an example showing you understand what how and what you do.

It shows you are not just 'picking/lifting' something from a book such as you've said

'you need to have good relationships with parents' but show you understand by adding

' I do this by greeting them each time they arrive with their child, sharing information such as the mother may say "she's had a bad night, she had a nightmare' etc

you show that you understand how important a good relationship is, and how you go about it......and you'll have a decent size piece of work.

When you know an answer, you just have to think to yourself " How do I put this into practice ? and then show/prove it to your assessor.

You could write reams about good relationships but by putting such as 'I greet parents... your assessor knows it is just one example.

I hope this helps.
