I only work with children aged 0 - 6 at the moment but i used my book children's care, learning and development to write about development up to 16 years even though i did not work with this age group... searching the internet also helps if you do not have a book handy.
What questions do you have to answer... post them and we can all try to help i am nearly finished so any work i have had corrected i can use them for reference

Sorry this took so long my internet was not working for a few days...
305
Protect themselves - talk about stranger danger during circle time awareness of body - talk about acceptable hugs who can give tham they have right to say no

Social factors that increase childs vunerability to abuse... maybe a lack of supervision from parents or over protectiveness child could be a easy target if living in run down area with lack of money, they may not have a high self esteem of themselves or may lack confidence

Different types of abuse... do a goole search you will fing all of the signs and symptoms of abuse there or borrow the book Children's care, learning and development level 3 - penny tassoni from friend or library and go to page 210 - 215

Current legislation - The Chidren Act 1989 (Eng3and and Wales) Children Bill 2004

Agencies and roles - social services health visitor childcare how do they protect child
303 i am a bit lost on it but will have a go
Techniques of observation that are approprioate ofr different purposes, stating advantages and dissadvantages

This means the different types of observations... written descrition, target child, event sample, time sample, tick chart.
Each have their advantages and disadvantages
Written des - can focus on one child all that is seen is recorded so can cover more than one area of development usually does not last longer than 5 - 10 mins
can be hard to observe and write at the same time can lead to lack of supervision may take a long time to gather all the imformation needed
tick chart - you can decide what you want to observe but if child shows a different skill nowhere to record this on form usually
event - may provide clues to why a child is reacting/behaving in a certain way can be a long process take away staff from minding other children
same as time sample.
Most of these questions can be found on the site use the search box to find older treads
hope i helped a little
