Help SOS 425K01 : The differences between management and leadership

Hiya. This is the first time on this forum, so a big hi to everyone. I have recently started my NVQ4 and I am presently doing CCLD425, but stuck on question 425K01 - The differences between management and leadership. Can anyone help me get started? Thank You.

Hiya,

A good way to look at this is in the definitions of the words - Management can be in the handling of policies, procedures, routines, staffing, resources and expectations. Leadership is a way of taking things - ideas, new information, own aspirations etc .. forward, not necessarily as a lead but in guidance and in accordance with any of the management requirements that accompany the job/situation.

A search term you could use with your search engine could be: Differences between Management and Leadership and this page from Bized.co.uk is good - Management and Leadership

Welcome to Silkysteps
