If the playgroup is run by the committee and it goes under owing am I right in saying the committee members will have to pay? If a new committee group takes over (as the last lot have left)should they if this is correct be told of the responsibilities they might incur?

Chloe...a big ..... YUP!...think its the named officers who have overall responsability...so anyone taking on a 'named' role should certainly be made aware of this...

we have an insurance policy for our comittee members so that if we do go under they only have to pay a nominal amount, a pound i think

not sure what it is called - tis from the pla insurance people
