Bank account charges

Our Bank has just started charging us for all our transactions.

28p per cheque paid in, 89p for every £100 paid in and out and £4 for every wages batch.

This seems steep to us, can anyone recommend a different account?

thanks in advance

Hiya, I have an ongoing grumble about business charges lol

Could I just ask anyone wishing to name who they would/wouldn't recommend to please do so through PM - Private messaging. Thankyou.

My setup is very different to the busy goings on of Preschool but will gladly pm details. In brief my bank charges 70p for any transaction that is deemed 'manual - cheque or card, outgoing payments + a standard monthly service charge - that stands for the duration the account stays open. Automated incoming credits are free, plus a set amount of cheque and cash deposits. All the transaction fees will subside considerably once the account rises above £1000, which is what may not be so good for settings.

There are a lot of other fees for situations that I've not yet come up against but are easily matched/accessed via their tariff pdf.

Hope that helps, let me know if you'd like more info..
xx

I suggest you move banks.

I have a business account with ABBEY
they dont not charge for any transactions.
you can bank 250 cheques per month with out charge
i think cash is higher.
i have been with them for 4 years now and have not been charged a penny.

Hi, please pm personal details of banking names.

You must have a good relationship with them, what are the bits you'd recommend to others?
