You need to find out what your local authority (council) do to protect children and the strategies they have in place to ensure those working with children do to. What do the council have to do if there is a case of abuse reported? A little bit about multi agency support. What procedures and policies you have in your setting to protect children, and how you do work within that. How all staff know what the safeguarding procedures are. What you do in the setting to protect children, and how you record it. (I included some examples.) and how it relates to the national standards. I also talked about CAF and whistleblowing, mentioning acts that protect people who disclose info, and a bit about disciplinary and grievance procedures!

Sorry that's all a bit garbled, but hope it helps.
