Default Unit 301. please help :)

This may sound completely stupid but i'm a little stuck on 2 questions in the 301 workpack..

1.How do you adapt your behavious and the way you communicate to meet the needs, age & abilities of individual children?

2.How do you negotiate with children about their needs & preferences, involving them in decision making as appropriate to their stage of development?

Thank you

Hi

1. Consider the way you communicate to older / younger children you work with. Do you communicate differently? Equally the same may be true when you are working with children who have a learning need? Explain what you have actually done to meet the needs of these children.

2. How do you support children to make choices for themselves? Again this would differ depending on their age, stage, and abilities.

I am sure you have plenty to draw on .... but the standards language sometimes needs putting into plain English!

All the best
