I am struggling a little with an assignment - it refers to a child who has been hitting their classmates and when I tell her parent they respond by hitting her on her face and saying "wait till I get you home !"

I need to detail my immediate response....

and also what do I do while the child and mother are still there.....

please HELP.....

you instigate your child protection procedure immediately and tell the parents this. they will of course go home as you have no way to stop them but you inform them that hitting a child on her face head is unacceptable and you have no choice but to report her and follow your procedure, you then record everything. its all in your procedure.

oh! how can you get a level 3 without professional practice placement? you need to do about 400 hrs to get your license to practice?
