Help SOS Help!! 304

I have 2 questions to answer for K3M232, they are

1. Examples of how childcare practice has changed and is changing in diff areas and how my setting has implemented this

2. Why is it important that any new information, learning or legal requirements are implemented throughout the setting to meet current best practice, quality schemes and regulatory requirements

I'm stuck...any help would be great

1. How far are you going back?
Chldren use to have to be toilet trained to attend an early years setting, now you must not discriminate and they can attend - so you will have had to adapt, add to policies and how do you go about his procedure? Where do you change them? etc
New issues are everyone being CRB'd.
Have you changed your mobile phone policy since the Vanessa George/Plymouth trial?

2 It is important to implement and follow new procedures/policies/ legislation for the health and safety of children, staff etc
For instance, Cossh, Risk assessments, Child protection. Everyone in the setting needs to follow the same procedure to maintain standards are carried through. You are more than likely to add/adapt or make a new policy and all go through what is needed of you all.
Everything you do is for best practice and the benefit of the children and you all need to know what that is to be consistent and therefore carrying out the correct procedures etc
