Default Which town is everyone from?

Hi all
Which town is everyone from?
I was looking at finding people from my town doing the same course as me, to find out if people were interested in getting together 1 or 2 nights a week for us all to work on our written work together, allowing the opportunity for dicussions and support.

Many thanks

Hi, I'm not sure the forum is the best way to initiate contact for unfamiliar meet ups. Can you ask around locally and maybe leaflet drop news of a venue and date for everyone to get together? If you have a cafe or library that would be interested in hosting a meeting you could get in touch with other settings, schools and maybe your local authority to pass on news of a study support group.

You may find learners will want to know the topic of disscussion, if it's relevant to what they're studying and if any resources/books will be there to help learning. You may also find that local colleges have information of existing groups that you could join or that would help support you.

Let us know what you do xx
