Help SOS K2D46 and K2D110

Im a little confused about these two questions

1-'children develop at widely different rates, but in broadly the same sequence'

2 - ' use of everday routines to support play and learning'.

if someone could help me i would be truely grateful.
thanks,
Gem

Children develop at their own rate but broadly in the same way a child learns to crawl , walk and run mainly in the same way .Most children learn to crawl first then walk and run some children do this earlier than others .My children where late developers most of their friends crawled , walked before they did by some months most walked about 12 months my children waited until after 14 months.but could run at the same time as the other children . I did notice that my children’s vocabulary was superior to their friends yet the other children did catch up this explains the different rates I used my own children.

Children can learn through everyday routines be experiencing soap on their hands which direction the water goes down the plug hole . Be talking to children while we carry out tasks and look for ways of involving them . Something as routine as putting on a coat can become a learning opportunity .Learning through everyday routines not only help children develop some important life skills but also gives them a sense of belonging and involvement .

hope this helps
