hiya was wondering if anyone could help me with Unit 204 - Use support to develop own practice in children’s care learning and development.

K2P56-Why do you feel it is important to set professional goals and targets
and
K2P57-What is the professional structure of the childcare sector and what opportunities are there for you to progress in your career?

Please can anyone help?

k2p57. I did a chart of how the teachers were set out in my placement. Head teacher at top then assistant head, teachers, Teaching assistants, Helpers ect and explained how i could progress up in my career.

k2p56. Setting goals and targets.... keeps you focused on your work, helps you identify gaps in your knoledge. How you will continue to learn all the time building on your existing skills.

Do you have the heinemann CCLD Level 2 book its great for help with the course .... Hope ive helped good luck x

Yeah, the text book's very good, it gives you examples 4 everything! I also did a flow chart of my setting, 2 pgs actually, 1 non-teaching staff & the other teaching staff & included all their qualifications.
Setting goals & targets, heres a few questions to get u started:

why is it important to set urself goals, by this time nxt yr I want 2 b, by June I want, to achieve this I need 2, tutors could help me by...

Hi, like everbody has said u should get the book itz really helpful. If u arent able to get the book then go on http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=F...unity.&f=false. Go to page 143 nd datz where all the info nd examples are. Hope this helps nd good luck :) x
