Default Paper free

I thought it was just me being a messy worker! :reading:I got my level 3 folders out of the loft and various books I've collected over the years and piled them all up in the kitchen, my husbands face was so funny when I told him it was a paper free course !!!
Anyway how are you getting on? I've just had 402 & 428 knowledge signed off- now for the worst bit the pc's. I've done a bit but I'm just not sure I'll be able to do all that is asked as I'm only an afternoon deputy not the supervisor:idea:I'm determined tho so will plod on.

Hi i'm also new to this site and doing L4 paper free. My computer doesn't have word on it and it has been an absolute nightmare sending my work to my assessor. i have now downloaded openoffice from java and i can at last send my work in and it's getting there in 1 piece!!! i have 1 more K to have signed off on 402 and a few left on 428, but like you say i'm not looking forward to the pc's. Being deputy has made it really hard as i know nothing about the policies, they were all written by a previous chairperson!!! Been told the easiest way to cover them is by a staff meeting talking about H&S and assessor observing.

Hi have you ever done a staff meeting before? Thats another thing I'm going to find hard as most of the girls have 2 jobs and can't always make the meetings so not all staff will be able to attend, there may only be 2 or 3 of us out of 7 able to make it. Our policies have just been re-written but they didn't have a whistle blowing policy so I've manage to get that one in. My supervisor is one of these people who likes to do everything herself, or she will ask for advice and do it her way anywayas if no one can do it better than her!!!!!!Which can be frustrating
But I'm determined....I'm going to plod on....This web site is brilliant for tips and ideas

Hi I new to this site and just starting on my level 4, I am doing it paper free as well !!!!! All I seem to do is write lots of notes before I type them up, today have booked my first appointment with assessor to do start up paper work. I am trying to answer knowledge for 401 have no idea if I am on the right track or not, guess I will find out sometime soon.

I'm quite lucky as my supervisor is also doing the NVQ so we've been told if 1 of us talks about H&S the other can talk about nutrition and as long as we both say bits on each others we are covered!!
It doesn't matter if not all the staff can attend as you can then cover how you will relay the information back to the others so in a way it helps!!

Hi dizztdoll
Let me know how it goes with 401 and maybe I could offer a bit of help with 402 & 428Its hard to know what your assessor expects of you with your first one but once youve done it you'll be okay. I wrote 17 pages for 402& 8 for 428. Happy studying:reading:
