It is important to show respect to everyones individuality so that they feel their views and ideas are equally valued and respected regardless of their gender, race or religion etc. If everyone feels valued it will promote a good working relationship between staff. A way to do this is by celebrating and incorporating all religous festivals in to your setting and taking an interest in the people you work with and their cultures.

Do you have the books childrens care, learning and development by Heineman and Nelson Thornes? If so go to unit 301. 4 in The Nelson Thornes book covers all this. :)
