Soya yoghurts? Check the free from area at your local supermarket. You can make buns (individual sponge puds) with soya marg and soya milk and make soya milk custard. I would ask the muslim child's parents for ideas...what do they eat at home? Many have quite a westernised menu (all be it halal meat and no pork), don't assume they eat curries every night. Show them your normal menus and go from there. It can often be easier to try and come up with one menu (with small modifications) to more or less fit all. Talking to all your parents will show how concerned you are about providing a suitable diet, that meets their individual child's needs. It will increase their confidence in you as a professional!
