302.3 PC 6 Recording and Reporting Child illness

Im stuck on this last Pc

Follow the correct procedures for reaording and repaorting accidents,injuries, sgins of illness and other emergncies.

i have covered accidents.injuries and other emergencies. It the sgins of illness which i need to cover, As you dont recoard every childs illness do you, im just not sure what to put to cover it

we do if the child seems to have a consistent illness or if its contagious (sp?) like chicken pox as we need to report to other parents, people who have came into contact with the child, using the service incase any of them are pregnant.

In Preschool parents can be the first source of information if the Children feel unwell. Making sure Parents know they can pop in at any time to let Staff know the Child/ren are a little under the weather is a great way to build relationships & a fab way to second check all current, backup & emergency contact details - if you amend anything - date & sign the changes & where there's provision to do so you could also add a comment if necessary...
