Help SOS Personal development- Appraisals

Hi, I’m going to be doing an appraisal with my class teacher when I go back after half term. I’ve never done one before and obviously this is for my level 3. I do one, full day, a week in reception class. I’ve no idea what to write.. obviously I feel I’ve made good, strong relationships with the children, I work with small groups doing some of the class work and activities. What extra things could I write that I want to learn, to gain me further knowledge and things that I would need and expected to do a TA job in a school as a permanent job
Any help with ideas will be greatly received.

Hi, having an positive attitude to any training opportunity will always be welcome. The main areas of personal development tend to be language, literacy, maths, ICT, then you can look at the different aspects of your job that interest you, maybe you'd like to know more about supporting children's behaviour, additional needs, outdoor learning, enabling environments?

Your school will be used to doing appraisals and have positive, beneficial ways to explain what your role is, identify what you enjoy, feel less confident about and how the school can help you develop those areas of professional practice.

Best wishes with it :) xx
